WERE HOSPITALITY AND PHOTOGRAPHY MEET

Hi, Simon here.

My path in photography began during the years I spent in Australia. In Sydney I studied graphic design and image at Enmore College, then continued my training in Milan with courses in graphic and web design.

Those studies taught me to think of photographs as part of a wider project: images that need to work together and feel right for a website, social channels, print or a business's communication.

I have a degree in Enology from the University of Turin, am a certified sommelier and hold WSET Level 3. For many years I worked in restaurant and hospitality management, both in Italy and abroad.

It is a world I know from behind the scenes: the rhythm of service, the work of the people, the preparation, the care of the spaces and the attention given to guests.

Today I work as an independent photographer at Darling Studio, the photography space I share with Lara in Mondovì.

I focus mainly on photography for restaurants, wineries, hospitality properties and businesses connected with food, wine and hospitality. I photograph interiors, people, products, moments of work and all the elements that contribute to telling the story of a place.

I also create images for businesses and professionals, as well as reportage for private, corporate and institutional events.
